Lil BUB's Big FUND's outreach initiatives serve those often overlooked in our society. 100% of the funds raised support education and access to music education and music programming for youth including access to learning in the recording studio and education and care for special needs pets.

Lil BUB's Small & Mighty Concert Series is a celebration of music's often forgotten power and an invitation to see it as a catalyst for change in your life. This series embraces everything that BUB stood for by celebrating our differences, proving that anything is possible regardless of your stature or background, and by making a genuine effort to help those less fortunate.

Our inaugural concert features a moving storytelling performance of Durand Jones’ debut solo album “Wait Til I Get Over". Durand and his band's performance was beautifully filmed and recorded at Bloomington’s own Russian Recording, the very same studio that the record was recorded and mixed in. You'll hear what inspired each song on the album, including some insight into the making of the record told to you from the exact room that it was recorded in.

“Hometowns have a way of keeping a part of you,” says Durand, regarding his debut solo album. 'Wait Til I Get Over' is a veneration project—an abstracted and contemporary oral tradition that passes story down from (and heaps homage upon) his hometown of Hillaryville, Louisiana.
