Describing Chase Atlantic’s sound at the release of their fourth full-length album, LOST IN HEAVEN, is simultaneously simple and impossible. The Australian-born, Los Angeles-based trio’s sound is immediately identifiable — from Mitchel Cave’s vocals to their catchy pop sensibilities to the danceable rock/R&B fusion laid down on every track. They also handle all of their own production, giving each song a unique vibe, but if you’re trying to put a formal title or genre on either their sound or the audience that adores them, good luck.
That’s largely because Chase Atlantic isn’t interested in fitting neatly into one box. They fit in just as well playing the biggest pop festivals on the planet (Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Reading and Leeds, etc.) as they do touring with rock bands, but they all have one thing in common — passion.
