Blues Music Award-Winner & 10x-Blues Music Award Nominated Pianist/Keyboardist BRUCE KATZ is a 30 year veteran of the music business and has released 11 albums as leader of his own band. Katz has been Nominated 7 Times for "Piano Player of the Year" at the Blues Music Awards, most recently in 2019-2021. In 2019, Katz won the Blues Music Award for "Acoustic Album of the Year" ('Journeys To The Heart Of The Blues'). From 2007-2013, Katz was a regular member of Gregg Allman & Friends. Katz performed with Allman Brothers founding member Butch Trucks in two different groups --- "Butch Trucks and the Freight Train Band" and "Les Brers". Katz also performed with Jaimoe and "Jaimoe's Jasssz Band". While with Guitar Legend Ronnie Earl from 1992?97, Katz recorded 6 albums, including "Grateful Heart", which won the Downbeat Magazine "Blues Album of the Year." The Bruce Katz Band includes AARON LIEBERMAN (Guitar & Vocals), who was a Founding Member of God Street Wine, and LIVIU POP (Drums).
